Many leaders in the field made presentations. these included The Iridologists Dr. Bill Caradonna, R.Ph., N.D., Dr. Peter Guhl, O.D., Jon Miles, and the work of Mats Larsson, leaders in the forefront of modern iridology. Jon Miles was able to demonstrate his new iris capture camera including special strobe lighting allowing a clear picture of the iris without the inconvenience of the flash distortion. He photographed many of the eyes of participants with this camera, just like one he recently built for the Egyptian government.

In the fields of Education and Dermatoglyphics Dr. Mary Lai, MME , Taiwan, made a major presentation of her twenty years of work in the use of palmar and plantar dermatoglyphics in child assessment and in working with parents and children on the child's development. She was joined by a panel of those trained through or in connection with the Mind Measurement Education Association that included educators from Taiwan and Hong Kong: Dr. Fritz Pang, Miss Irene Tsang, Janice Yeung, Tse Lai Man, and Pam Ho.

Dr. Arnold Holtzman, Ph.D., Israel, Psychologist, founder of the Psychodiagnostic School of Chirology in Israel, gave an over view of examining the morphology and dermatoglyphics of the hand as diagnostic markers for psychological syndromes based upon his thirty years of clinical research into the subject. He was available for signing his new book, The Illustrated Textbook of Psychodiagnostic Chirology in Analysis and Therapy.

Richard and Alana Unger, San Francisco, California, USA, founders ofthe International Institute of Hand Analysis in 1985, presented their recent works with a Swiss psychiatrist in using hand analysis in conjunction with family and child therapy.

Moshe (Mouricio) Zwang, N.D., O.M.D., Ph.D.. Encino, California, the founder and president of the International Palmtherapy Institute and author of Palm Therapy, Program your Mind Through Your Palms, made a powerpoint presentation of his work.

Conference Organizer, CEO of Amida Biometrics, L.L.C., and Chairperson of the Northwest Hand Institute discussed the subject and history of dermatoglyphics and behavior, the problems and practical limitations of prior research and the future potentials for the science. 2006 PROGRAM

The March 2006 conference was well attended in Shanghai at the Nan Ying Hotel. Here was the order of the program.

MONDAY, March 20, 2006

News Conference, Inroductory Remarks, Presentations

Dr. Wang Chenxia from mainland China lectured on her work in the use of hand analysis as a primary diagnostic tool in both Traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine. Her topic was Einsteins heath based upon analysis of his hand prints and his medical history. Dr. Wang is well known in China and SE Asia and has acted as a physician to the King of Thailand. She has her own school of medicine, the Yunnan Chenxia Palm Line Medical Institution in Kunming, China and her students now practice in every province in China. She has written a number of books on her work and one: Diagnostics Based Upon Observations of Palmar Lines, has been translated into English and is available through the Shandong Friendship Publishing House and distributed by the Chinese International Book Trading Corporation in Beijing.

Mary Lai of Taiwan treated us with a return visit. Dr. Lai has been working for over twenty years on development of parenting plans and educational curriculums for children principally from infancy through are seven based upon he findings in research that now includes a data base of the palmar and plantar (hand and foot) dermatoglyphics of over 10,000 children. Her disciplines are now practiced in Taiwan as well as SE Asia, Hong Kong and now moving into mainland China. She even has students in Southern California. Dr. Lai is the founder of the Mind Measurement Education Association

Mr. Fritz Pang is a child psychologist with over 20 years experience from Hong Kong. He has been studying and practicing the work pioneered by Mary Lai for some years and adds more professional child development and education to this approach which also leans on the Howard E. Gardner's theories of multiple intelligences. Dr. Arnold Holtzman was very appreciative of Dr. Pang’s illuminating contributions at our 2004 conference in Las Vegas. Dr. Pang was joined by his associate Irene Tsang, presenting the topics on How to teach children with Reading and Writing Difficulties. This includes how to recognize them from their palmar and plantar dermatoglyphics.

TUESDAY, March 21, 2006

Two students of the school of Psychodiagnostic Chirology founded by Dr. Arnold Holtzman shared with us on the second day of the conference. Both practice this discipline in Israel. The first presentation will be delivered by Mr. Amiram Meoded M.A. He is a licensed psychodrama therapist and lecturer. Besides his clinical work he offers courses in Applied Psychodiagnostic Chirology and provides supervision to professionals who incorporate PDC in their clinical work. His presentation is entitled: "The Clinical Application of 7 Major Biometric Constructions in Personality and their Definitions in Behavior."

The second PDC presentation was delivered by Ms. Anat Levi who has a degree in education and a background in Adlerian psychology. She lectures extensively on PDC and offers courses to professionals and interested laymen. She will present Two Clinical Case Studies of PDC Biometrics in Analysis and Therapy. These presenters will be accompanied by possibly five other practitioners of PDC from Israel.

The Iridologist Mr. Jon Miles of Escondido, California, returned this year. He introduced us to the Rayid methods of examining the iris of the eye in psychological analysis. He brought technical treats, including iris camera with its special lighting (good enough to be purchased by the Government of Egypt) .

Edward D. Campbell will discuss Some observations of variations in palmar surface vascularization and their apparent correspondents to psychology, behavior and health. this may be the first formal presentation of the interpretive value of hand vascularization in Behaviroal nad medical Biometrics.
